Common Questions

What are the visiting hours?
We are always open to visitors, however we recommend visiting between 9am and 8 pm.

Do the resident rooms have a television and can I purchase cable service?
Our resident rooms come with televisions and we provide the cable service for free.

How can I receive rehabilitation services?
Rehabilitation must be ordered by the resident's physician, so each resident will be seen according to their physicians direction. Our in-house rehabilitation staff works with residents accordingly and would be happy to have family members present during their rehabilitation sessions.

When does Medicare Part A cover the stay in a skilled nursing facility?
Residents must have a Medicare card that reads "Hospital Insurance" and must have spent a minimum of three consecutive nights in a hospital no more than 30 days before entering a skilled nursing facility. A physician must also certify that the resident needs "skilled" care on a continuing basis. During the first 20 days of care, Medicare will pay 100%. For days 21-100, a daily co-insurance rate will be due as determined by Medicare. For a stay longer than 100 days, Medicare will no longer pay for skilled nursing.

Does each room have a telephone?
Residents rooms have been wired for telephone service. Simple call the local telephone company and ask for new service to be installed. Local telephone company charges will apply.

Can we bring a family pet to visit?
Pets are always welcome at Cloverdale Healthcare Center. However, for the safety of our residents and staff we ask that you clean up after your pet and keep them with you at all times.
